Never heard of this 1982 French cult film? The setting: the offices of a suicide hotline on Christmas Eve... Here's a "highlight reel" of the most famous scenes for your viewing pleasure.
Le Père Noël est une ordure bombed in theaters, but was a huge success once it came to TV. It was originally a play (1979), and an American remake (Mixed Nuts) was directed by Nora Ephron in 1994.
Ask any of your French friends about this movie. Chances are they all know it well. And they'll be impressed that you know it too!
